Dagny makes cheerful folk pop that is both playful and riddled with potential hits. She has been described as “a mix of Taylor Swift, First Aid Kit, and Lily Allen with a hint of Feist”. In 2012 she moved from her hometown Bergen to London to work with a team of musicians to build upon her folky sound with a stronger rhythmic base and more electronic sounds. Among the results is the acclaimed single “Backbeat”.
