Merigold is an americana artist whose well received debut album, Songs and Reality, was released in 2015 on danish indie label, Target Records. The album deals with the weird nature of love, mistakes and regrets and an ambivalence towards existence and fate. The songs are delivered by an honest vocal that is accompanied by howling pedal steel guitar, twangy electric guitar, bass and drums.
