Phlake is producer Jonathan Elkær and singer Mads Bo and together they strive for a mix of the tastiness of r’n’b and the toughness of hip hop rhythm tracks. In their own words, their sound is “rhythm’n’balls”. Last year, their single ‘Pregnant’ was picked by Danish radio P3 as one of the year’s “unignorable” tracks and with a range of sold-out concerts, they seem to have found the right recipe for their own sound.
