Later this year the Norwegian artist Moddi will release a concept album exclusively with songs that have fallen due to censorship by artist like Pussy Riot etc. But already tomorrow his is performing these ‘Unsongs’ at the SPOT Festival.
The concert will take place at Dokk1 as part of the event ‘Music Is Language’. In a guest column in Q Magazine Moddi expresses how he was turned on to the project after canceling what would have been his first-ever concert in Israel – the reactions afterwards let his attention to how several artists have been pressured as a result of censorship.
Moddi has previously been touring together with SPOT Festival as part of the Dias Nórdicos Festival – and now he is ready to take on Aarhus. Read more about his forthcoming performance here.
