So here you are. Just hours before your first visit at SPOT festival. The high school reunion of Scandinavias most successful, most innovative and of course most attractive musical imports and exports.

Obviously, this calls for a game plan.
There are so many questions to be answered, so many mysteries to be solved.
What do you wear? How do you prepare for Denmark’s moody and unpredictable weather?
And of course
HOW DO YOU SURVIVE AT SPOT WITHOUT STANDING OUT TOO MUCH WHILE STILL GETTING THE MOST OUT OF IT?
PHASE 1: THE OUTFIT
This is a tricky one. You might be thinking festival look and Coachella, but the weather calls for rain boots and umbrella (rhyme unintended).
Be realistic here, you will probably not have a good time freezing in your cute summer top, so best play it safe. In Denmark, this means going all black with a nice coat. If you feel extra edgy, add a bright lipstick to feel more like yourself.
PHASE 2: THE ACTUAL THING
Shining at SPOT takes years of experience.
To master the craft of survival, it is best to take some advise from the professionals. So here they are.
Must have: Umbrella. Must not have: Sunglasses.
Ok, umbrellas are essential.
You are not REALLY famous yet, do not act like it.
Go all in, but do it consciously.
Planning is everything. There is a lot going on, so make sure to pick wisely.
Networking is nice, but do not miss out on the actual fun.
And go see their show, these guys are a blast.
Last but not least: Treat yourself! Make SPOT your own.
